From International Astronautical FederationThe International Astronautical Federation has had its own website since the mid 1990s. In 2006, a new look was created to which more and more functionality was added. In December 2009, the International Astronautical Federation renewed its website again. We are continually adding new functionality - videos and other rich content, Web 2.0 features, IAC papers and the new website allows us to expand into new ideas as they come along. We have chosen a quiet period to change over the IAF website but invitably some features are still not in place. If you see problems - missing pages, incorrect text and bad-looking pages, we have set up a special email address to report these problems: migration@iafastro.com Uploading Papers and the Restricted AreaThe previous website is still available, and will continue to be available, at iafastro.net. It can be used as normal to upload papers, access the restricted area and create login accounts. To navigate to iafastro.net click the Sign Inbutton above left. NewsThe website has an enhanced news service. Breaking news from space and the space industry is featured on the front page. Additionally there is a news search facility. EventsThe website has new events feature where space-related events are shown. Emailing the IAFPlease note that most IAF email addresses still end with iafastro.org. If you wish to email us about other issues than the website migration, please use info@iafastro.org or secretariat.iaf@iafastro.org (they both go to the same mailbox) |
